Services
- Upon a vehicle movement reservation submittal, a Driver on Demand (“DOD”) dispatcher will email the customer (“You”) confirming the details upon receiving a movement request (“Email Movement Confirmation”).
- DOD does not guarantee vehicle movement fulfillment but will make all reasonable efforts to assign a driver. Typically, at least two hours’ advance notice is required to secure driver availability.
- DOD drivers may be independent contractors or employees. All drivers are vetted by DOD, including criminal background check, drug test, driving record review, proof of valid driver’s license and US citizenship. Minimum driver age is 25 years.
- DOD drivers are prohibited from transporting passengers in any vehicle.
Fees and Payments
- Vehicle movement fees will be quoted in DOD’s Email Movement Confirmation. Additional expenses (e.g., fuel, tolls, ride share fees) not included in the Email Movement Confirmation but incurred during movements are billed as pass-through charges. Company is not responsible for DOD driver violations, including speeding, parking tickets and toll violations.
- Vehicle movement fees are due immediately upon completion (e.g. credit card) of the movement or as otherwise agreed to by DOD.
- DOD will charge a $35.00 cancellation fee if You cancel the reservation within one hour of the scheduled pickup time.
Insurance
- DOD maintains: (i) $1M General Liability / $2M Aggregate, (ii) $1M Primary Auto Liability (Hired/Non-Owned), and (iii) $250K Crime and $1M Professional Liability coverage. All independent contractor drivers maintain a $1,000,000 per Person/Accident Occupational Accident policy for medical expenses plus other coverages.
- Upon request, DOD will provide You with a Certificate of Insurance evidencing all policies.
Damage Claims
- You must submit any alleged damage claim by email to support@driverondemand.co within 24 hours from the time the movement is recorded as complete, including weekends. DOD is not liable for any damage claim in which a DOD driver does not have possession of or is not driving the covered by DOD’s Primary Auto Liability policy. DOD may use third-party adjusters to assess fault and determine DOD’s payment responsibility.
- DOD is not liable and will not make any reimbursements for rentals, lost wages, or diminished value unless agreed in writing prior to the Email Movement Confirmation. Regardless of whether a DOD driver is in possession or operating the vehicle, DOD will not be responsible for vehicle normal wear and tear, damage caused by road debris, including windshields, weather, or other force majeure damages.
Confidentiality
- DOD receives customer personally identifiable information for service delivery only and will not use, sell, distribute PII for marketing or any unrelated communication.
- DOD ensures each driver signs a contract with confidentiality and compliance terms.
